Well there isn't one specific for the 170. Your best bet is the Cessna 100 Series Service Manual- 1962 and prior, along with the Illustrated Parts Catalog and a Continental 0-300 overhaul manual. The Service manual dos not refer directly to 170's, but does cover early 172's (essentially 170's that Cessna accidentally put the tail wheel on backwards by mistake) The Continental Overhaul Manual tells you just about everything you need to know about the engine. The Univair and Aircraft Spruce should both have them. I had the on line version and a paper copy, however my mechanic needed a 'current' version, and I purchased another copy from Spruce after they promised me it was current with the lattest revision,when it arrived it was 2 revisions out of date. I had to purchase they lattest revisions from Cessna for both my parts and service manuals.
